Professional Development
Catalogue 2025-2026
A comprehensive range of professional development is available for both
teachers and leaders specific to schools implementing the International
Curriculum and more widely to schools delivering international education.
Active engagement with impactful professional development is a key factor in
continuous improvement for schools. The ICA portfolio of professional
development delivers transformative experiences that create, build and
sustain effective practices to unlock learning potential.
We offer a flexible approach to the delivery of our courses to ensure that
teachers and leaders, who have significant demands on their time, can access
professional development opportunities at a time, place, and in a way that
best meets their needs. Our range of delivery options includes:

Online Learning
Online blended courses offer an ideal
combination of the advantages of our online
course and the effectiveness of live trainer input.
We recommend this course for whole school, or
larger group professional development who wish
to work at their own pace and consolidate their
learning over a longer period of time facilitated
and guided by an ICA trainer.
A trainer facilitated face-to-face course will be
delivered in your school location. Additional
access to our online course contents is provided,
as well as follow-up virtual training sessions.

Level 1: Implementing the IEYC is essential for all
teachers engaged in the implementation of the
IEYC. This course introduces the Seven
Foundations and covers the Knowledge, Skills and
Understanding required for effective curriculum
delivery.

and completed Level 1?

Level 2: Embedding the IEYC builds on the
foundation of Level 1 training. Teachers are
supported beyond initial implementation of the
International Curriculum extending Knowledge,

learning platform, the PD Hub.
The course is structured across 10 modules of learning arranged into 5
Chapters, with additional Entry and Exit modules.
Learning across all modules is fully asynchronous enabling you to work
at your own pace and in your own time.
It is 25 hours of learning time, and you will have access to the course
for 16 weeks.

who may have already completed the Orientation Series and Getting
Started with the IEYC course.
Embedding the IEYC (Teachers)

On registering, you will be issued with a personal account on our

The course is structured across 6 modules of learning arranged into 3
Chapters, with additional Entry and Exit modules.
Learning across all modules is fully asynchronous enabling you to work
at your own pace and in your own time. Your learning is facilitated
online by an ICA trainer.
It is 15 hours of learning time, and you will have access to the course
for 12 weeks.
